President-Elect
Brooke Lipperini, SHRM-SCP
Brooke Lipperini has 15 years of professional experience in Human Resources, primarily in manufacturing organizations. Currently, she is the Regional Manager, Human Resources at CANPACK US, a manufacturer of aluminum beverage cans. Prior to joining CANPACK, US, she was the Human Resources Manager at The AZEK Company, a manufacturer of premium building products in Scranton. Brooke holds a SHRM-SCP certification and has been awarded the Veterans at Work Certificate by the SHRM Foundation. Brooke has served on the NEPA SHRM Board of Directors since 2017. She is currently holds the role of Chair of the Communications Committee. In this capacity, Brooke oversees all communication activities of the chapter and handles all activities related to the chapter’s website. Brooke lives in Olyphant with her two children, fiancé and two dogs.

Christine M. Jensen, SPHR®, CWDP, SHRM-SCP
Christine M. Jensen is the Site Administrator of the Pennsylvania CareerLink® Luzerne County, overseeing offices in Wilkes-Barre and Hazleton. The CareerLink is the region’s largest employment and business services agency in Luzerne County, assisting both job seekers and employers. Prior to joining the Pennsylvania CareerLink, Ms. Jensen served the City of Wilkes-Barre as its Human Resources Director for twenty-one years.
Ms. Jensen has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The Catholic University of America. She has maintained her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification since 1997. Ms. Jensen also holds her certification as a Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) with the Management Services Endorsement and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Kellie Knesis, MS, SPHR®, SHRM-SCP
A seasoned Human Resources professional with over 28 years’ experience in areas such strategic human resource planning, staffing, performance management, compliance employee/labor relations, compensation and benefits as well as HRIS. Kellie received her BS in Human Resources from King’s College and holds a MS in Organizational Management from Misericordia University. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute as well as a Senior Certified Professional (SCP) from the Society for Human Resources Management. She is currently employed by the Wright Center for Community Health as Chief Human Resource Officer. Kellie previous worked in various HR roles for Frontier Communications (formerly Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises) and Mercy Health Partners. Kellie has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Scranton as well as Misericordia University. She currently a board member of the NEPA Society for Human Resources Management where she is currently chair of the Finance Committee.

Jose Adames
My name is Jose Adames and I am very interested in pursuing and filling the NEPA SHRM Board of Director seat for the upcoming 2022 election. I know I would be a great fit for this role because of my extensive experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. As of today I have been involved in the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition industry for 10 years and I have done all things Human Resources such as leading Full Cycle Recruiting, Promotions, Onboarding, Conducting orientations, Benefits enrollment, Payroll, FMLA, Short Term Disability, Unemployment Compensation, Terminations/Resignations, Total Rewards, Employee engagement and more.
If selected for this opportunity, I will apply all my years of experience and skills to ensure that I help drive NEPA SHRM to achieve the goals we have in place and to make myself available for our members when they need assistance or have any questions or concerns that they need guidance with. I will ensure we follow our bylaws to provide even more forums for the personal and professional development of our NEPA SHRM members and provide more opportunities to help develop our NEPA SHRM members leadership, managerial, public speaking, and group decision-making skills. I would help in working with my fellow board of directors to continue to find ways to improve NEPA SHRM and the experience we provide to our NEPA SHRM members.
Holly Courter, MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR
Holly Courter is the Director of Human Resources at Romark Logistics and is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources Departments for the organization. She is actively involved in managing all facets of the safety and human resources related regulatory compliance, labor relations, organization development, training, payroll, recruitment, retention, performance management, problem solving and policy/procedure creation. Holly has spent over 20 years in the Human Resources field, working with other organizations specializing in distribution, retail and call center operations.
Holly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from King’s College and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wilkes University. Holly has earned the designation Senior Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resources Management as well as the Senior Professional in Human Resources designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute. In 2021, she was named the Human Resources Professional of the year by the Northeast PA Manufacturers and Employers Association
Anna Rinaldi, MBA
My name is Anna Rinaldi and I am currently the Human Resources Manager for SIMONA America Industries, a plastic manufacturer located in Archbald Pennsylvania and have been fortunate enough to work for SIMONA for the past 7 years. As HR, I believe strongly in working with others towards a common goal of servicing the needs of our employees while keeping the mission, vision and values of SIMONA up front and center.
Prior to my career at SIMONA, I worked as a Benefit Specialist for ParenteBeard for 4 years and Prudential Retirement as a bilingual Customer Service Representative. I received a bachelor of arts in Political Science from Kutztown University. However, my career in Human Resources began when I received a Master’s of Business of Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and Organizational Development and Change in 2010 from Wilkes University.
As a first generation American, I was provided with so many advantages, such as being fluent in Spanish. My parents came from Honduras and Italy and instilled in me a love of learning which is why I feel most comfortable and most myself in a school setting. I truly believe in the importance of education and that every individual should further themselves by getting an education. To me, it is the most important thing, not only to further one's career, but also to be a lifelong student, which I intend to be.
Carrie Krott, MLS, SHRM-CP
Carrie is a Human Resources Business Partner for CANPACK US – a leading global manufacturer of beverage packaging. In her role as HR Business Partner, Carrie specializes in talent acquisition, associate relations, compliance, and performance management. With over 11 years of experience in the HR field, Carrie is experienced working across all levels of an organization, delivering excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Prior to joining CANPACK US, Carrie held progressive HR roles in both healthcare and distribution.
Carrie has a master’s degree from Drexel University in Legal Studies concentrating in HR Compliance and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing from Pennsylvania State University. Carrie holds a current SHRM-CP certification and is an active Notary Public for the state of Pennsylvania.
In addition, Carrie is an active volunteer in her community. Carrie is the Professional Development Chair and Board member for NEPA SHRM, Board Member of the Everhart Museum, and has held advisory board and co-chair positions at United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA and Penn Foster. Carrie is also a religious education teacher and youth sports coach.
