What are your favorite hobbies?

Spending time with my loved ones, working out, traveling, music, dancing, and recently gardening and fishing.

Why did you choose a career in HR?

Honestly, to make a long story short, in college, I was trying to figure out what career I wanted to pursue and decided to take a variety of intro business classes which included Human Resources. My first HR class was with Dr. Marc Marchese at King’s College.What he taught that day made me realize that HR was what I wanted to do.I wanted to be part of the team in an organization that helped employees, candidates, and leadership. I wanted to be part of the business that helped streamline and improve an organization’s work environment, processes, procedures, and overall culture.I wanted to be the best HR professional I could be known for compassion, dependability and efficiency and so far, I think I’ve been doing a pretty good job at achieving that.

What is your current job / career?

I am currently a Senior Recruiter with Serco, Inc, An international Company. www.serco.com

What is your greatest personal accomplishment?

My greatest personal accomplishments are being the first from my direct family to graduate from college and having the opportunity to work in the HR/Recruiting industry for the last 9 years.
