What are your favorite hobbies?

My favorite hobby is watching my children play sports, as it brings me joy to support them and celebrate their growth, teamwork, and achievements.

Why did you choose a career in Human Resources? 

It was never my initial intention to pursue a career in HR - my path has evolved through a variety of roles over the years. I began in elementary education before transitioning into the corporate training space. From there, I moved into an HR onboarding role, which ultimately led me to my current position managing both onboarding and offboarding. This role allows me to engage in a wide range of HR functions and contribute across multiple aspects of the employee experience.

What is your current job / career?

I am the Employee Experience Partner at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies.

What is your greatest personal accomplishment?

I consider my greatest accomplishment to be my dedication to lifelong learning. No matter where I am in my career life, I've remained curious and open to new experience that help me grown both personally and professionally.

Why did you choose to join NEPA SHRM?

As I continue to learn and grow in my current role, I was encouraged to explore the SHRM certification as a next step in my professional development. I work alongside several colleagues who are active members of NEPA SHRM, and they recommended joining as a valuable opportunity to connect with other HR professionals and deepen my understanding of the field.
