What are your favorite hobbies?

My passions outside of work include dancing, painting, music, cooking, baking and crafting.  When I can find the time of course!I also enjoy spending time with family which consists of my mother, two sons and two seventy pound German Shepard fur babies (Princess Leia Dog and Phoenix)​.

Why did you choose a career in Human Resources? 

I fell into an HR role during my many (17) years at Home Depot and I knew it was what I wanted to do.  It was not that hard of a transition going from retail customer service to employee customer service.

What is your current job / career?

I’ve been looking for a new opportunity for almost a year now.  In the meantime, I’ve kept busy with NEPA SHRM and Pittston Area Little League.

What is your greatest personal accomplishment?

Obtaining my SHRM-CP was, for sure, a great accomplishment.  I did not pass the first time but I kept studying and was certified on my second try.  This was all during Covid!

Why did you choose to renew your NEPA SHRM membership?

I started attending NEPA SHRM events in 2017 and have stayed pretty active since 2021.  I am currently a committee member on the Professional Development Team.
