What are your favorite hobbies?

I like to spend time with my family and travel. I also enjoying running having completed 3 marathons, 20 half marathons, and countless 5k’s

Why did you choose a career in Human Resources? 

I actually chose this field after speaking to multiple mentors throughout my high school career. I was enrolled in a Clinical Psychology track but switched to Industrial/Organizational Psychology after speaking to my advisor. I was lucky to have internships that helped me chose the HR profession.

What is your current job / career?

I'm currently the HR Manager for a drug and alcohol treatment center.

What is your greatest personal accomplishment?

Obtaining my SHRM-CP after being in the field for 13 years.

How long have you been a member of NEPA SHRM?

I honestly cant recall when I joined the NEPA SHRM chapter!

Why did you chose to renew your membership?

The resources that are available including CEU’s make the investment completely worth it.
