What are your favorite hobbies?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I have one dog but care for many animals at our family farm (cows and many more!). When we are not working, we like to golf, bowl, and spend time outside.

Why did you choose a career in Human Resources? 

I enjoy working with people and having the opportunity to affect their work life in a positive manner. I believe the work we do as HR Leaders can help shape someone’s experience and therefore, positively impact their career and personal life.

What is your current job / career?

What is your greatest personal accomplishment?

This is a difficult question. Obtaining my Master’s Degree and them my SHRM certifications (SPHR and SHRM-SCP) are certainly something I’m proud of but I think the most rewarding; simply being a good friend, daughter, co-worker, wife, etc.

How long have you been a member of NEPA SHRM?

I’ve been a member of SHRM since 2007, a member of NEPA SHRM since 2013, have been a board member for NEPA SHRM since 2019 and their secretary since 2020.

Why did you chose to renew your membership?

NEPA SHRM works diligently to share knowledge and advance the HR profession – this is incredibly important to me and value being a part of it.
