What are your favorite hobbies?

I love being a mom and finding fun things to do together as a family.  I also enjoy dancing and standup comedy.

Why did you choose a career in HR?

The HR career chose me.  My career began at a place that was lacking HR policies and procedures.  I noticed the effect this had on staff, management and the organization's growth and had to do something about it.  I educated myself and started implementing changes.  Once I saw the transformation in organizational efficiencies and staff productivity and welfare, I knew this was what I was meant to do.

What is your current job / career?

I am the Director of Operations at Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance.

What is your greatest personal accomplishment?

Creating the first ever HR & Safety Management Department for a home improvement company.  This contriution helped create a culture of diversity and inclusion while keeping everyone safe.  I consider myself a lifelong learner always looking for new learning opportunities to stay up to date with important topics and trends.
